Paul McCobb 6 drawer Planner Group dresser Ca.1950s.Fully restored in a piano black lacquer finish with original polished solid brass drawer pulls.Constructed of solid maple throughout the dresser is very solid and in like new restored condition.

Paul McCobb (1917-1969) is an American designer best known for the Planner Group, his collection of clean, utilitarian and well-priced modular residential furniture that was an instant success.  From there, McCobb went on to design many other furniture collections, as well as fabrics, lighting and accessories.  His work is showcased at MoMA and around the world at public institutions and in private collections.
