Gunnar Nylund for Rorstrand Stoneware Bowl
Gunnar Nylund Rorstrand bowl. The Swedish designer Gunnar Nylund worked at Rörstrand from 1940-56. The dusty and slightly matte glazing combined with the geometrical patterns are very characteristic for Nylunds designs in the early 1950s. It epitomizes the tendencies and “soul” of scandinavien art pottery of this period.
