Paul McCobb Planner Group 6-Drawer Lacquered Dresser
Paul McCobb Planner Group 6-drawer dresser circa 1955 with solid brass conical drawer pulls. Perfectly restored in a white satin lacquer finish. Interior drawers are restored and finished clear maple. Solid maple construction throughout with newly fitted 1/4” beveled glass top.
Paul McCobb (1917-1969) is an American designer best known for the Planner Group, his collection of clean, utilitarian and well-priced modular residential furniture that was an instant success. From there, McCobb went on to design many other furniture collections, as well as fabrics, lighting and accessories. His work is showcased at MoMA and around the world at public institutions and in private collections.
