Paul McCobb Planner Group Armchair Ca. 1950’s.Solid maple construction throughout that has been freshly restored in a hand rubbed black lacquer finish.

Paul McCobb (1917-1969) is an American designer best known for the Planner Group, his collection of clean, utilitarian and well-priced modular residential furniture that was an instant success.  From there, McCobb went on to design many other furniture collections, as well as fabrics, lighting and accessories.  His work is showcased at MoMA and around the world at public institutions and in private collections.
