Matching pair of 1950s Paul McCobb Planner Group solid maple nightstands on splayed tapered dowel legs. Solid maple construction throughout fully restored. Original aluminum ring pull hardware details each drawer face.

Paul McCobb (1917-1969) is an American designer best known for the Planner Group, his collection of clean, utilitarian and well-priced modular residential furniture that was an instant success. From there, McCobb went on to design many other furniture collections, as well as fabrics, lighting and accessories. His work is showcased at MoMA and around the world at public institutions and in private collections.
