Paul McCobb Calvin 8 Drawer Dresser For Directional circa 1950’s.Finely constructed modernist dresser from mahogany with solid brass X cross stretcher detail and original drawer hardware.Fully restored in a dark brown open grain satin finish.

Paul McCobb (1917-1969) is an American designer best known for the Planner Group, his collection of clean, utilitarian and well-priced modular residential furniture that was an instant success.  From there, McCobb went on to design many other furniture collections, as well as fabrics, lighting and accessories.  His work is showcased at MoMA and around the world at public institutions and in private collections.
